The Aiguilles Rouges (red needles) offers splendid view points on the Mont Blanc range: Mer de Glace, Aiguille Verte and Aiguilles de chamonix and of course the Mont Blanc!
The route passes through the nature reserve which houses a large number of ibexes, chamois and marmots... without speaking about a rich flora and colorful lakes reflecting the majestuous mountains. An easy hike in 6 days with the possibility to climb MT Buet (3099m) also named the Ladies' Mt Blanc.
We start along the Souay torrent, geological separation between the limestone of the Fiz chain and the granite of the Pormenaz mountain.
We climb up to Col de Salenton, just under Mount Buet: a beautiful day!!!
Down in the bucolic Berard valley and then we hike up to Les Posettes, panoramic view on the Mont Blanc chain.
